We started Per Our Last Email because we know first hand how hard it can be to be a freelancer. Our hope is that the stories we share and the guests that we interview will be a reminder that you are not alone in this crazy entrepreneur life.
A year ago, Arabela and I met our friend and fellow photographer Anna McNaught when I hosted her on Adobe Live (see the streams here and here). After the stream, we went to a coffeeshop to co-work and spent hours talking about freelancing and how hard it can be. We joked that there should be an AA for freelancers to just vent about clients while drinking together. In that moment, a perfect podcast idea was born.
It’s been a year in the making, but we’re finally live and the first three episodes are available for you to binge now with a new episode dropping every Monday.
So what can you expect when you listen? Our goal is to be your freelancing BFFS who empower you to stand up for yourself when dealing with difficult clients or sticky situations. We’re going to be sharing stories from real freelancers about their experiences as well as bringing on guests to tell their stories as well. Each week, we’ll feature a cocktail, will share the recipe on Sunday so that you can make and drink it along with us as you listen to the episode.
