INSPIRATION 64 / THE PORTLAND STUDIO
If you haven’t heard, we recently opened our studio, Little Sunday Studio in Campbell. We are using the space as our office/studio, but we want to make it available for other photographers to rent in the near future. We’ve found it hard to find creative spaces in the South Bay, and we want to give others access to a space where they can play around and be inspired.
Because of this, I’ve been looking at creative studios in other cities to see how they do things. In my searching, I came across The Portland Studio. This space was opened in 2017 by founder Nichole with the dream a similar dream to ours, to provide a place for artists and photographers to create.
What I love about The Portland Studio is how they keep everything simple and minimal. Their instagram is filled with inspiration for using a few items to make an impact. They show how they potted plants, chairs, and fabric to transform the space into completely different settings. I also love the wooden walls that they have, there is always a white side and a natural wood side. The other two sides are always changing colors.
If you’re in the Portland area I highly recommend checking them out and booking a shoot. If not, make sure to follow them on Instagram and Pinterest for some gorgeous photo inspiration.
