With NYFW currently happening, I've been very inspired by anything and everything relating to fashion. Something that recently caught my eye is the work of Megan Galante, an illustrator and surface designer living in New York. Working in the fashion and textile design industry, she has created a variety of artwork for brands such as Ralph Lauren, Dwell Studio, The Cloth & Company, and The Inside. One of her most recent works includes the designlovefest x The Cloth & Company furniture line at Target.

While I love her textile designs, the work that interests me the most are her fashion illustrations. Each of her illustrations features a stylish women in her natural state. The muted colors and the minimalist approach to her art draws me in and I'm curious to discover the women in these illustrations. I want to know who they are, what they do, and the stories behind each of them. In a way, they remind me of the powerful women I look up to in my everyday life.

View a few of Galante's fashion illustrations below.
