3 FACEBOOK GROUPS EVERY CREATIVE SHOULD JOIN
When Elle and I started Weekend Creative earlier this year, we found ourselves researching a lot of information about how to run our creative business as first-time entrepreneurs. Facebook groups quickly became one of our favorite resources for asking specific questions, connecting with other creatives, and gaining invaluable business advice. Keep reading for some of our favorite groups that we feel every creative should be a part of.
THE RISING TIDE SOCIETY
One of the larger groups that Elle and I are a part of, The Rising Tide Society is one of the most diverse groups on Facebook with over 75K members in various creative fields. Powered by HoneyBook, the group fosters an environment of creative learning and professional development by providing resources and hosting local gatherings (Tuesdays Together). The Rising Tide is not only a great place for creative entrepreneurs and business owners to share knowledge but to make friends and meet like-minded people.
CREATIVE LADY COLLECTIVE
If you’re looking for a safe space to share your business struggles, ask questions, and receive constructive criticism, you’ll definitely want to join Creative Lady Collective. This group focuses on creating a supportive community where members can connect, collaborate, and learn from each other. Elle and I love asking questions in this group when we’re feeling stuck on something or we need advice.
MAKE IT POP! | Creative photography with diane villadsen
This new Facebook may be specific to creative photography but is a great resource for discussing ideas and sharing work in progress. Led by Diane Villadsen, Make It Pop! is focused on helping photographers improve their photography through monthly photo challenges, blog posts, Youtube tutorials, and more.
Thanks for reading. Let us know if there are any other Facebook groups you think we should join!
Is it the weekend yet?
